Cover Design: Najla Qamber Designs 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐛: One night together could ruin everything... Keane Colburn was my best friend. Ever since childhood, we could always count on each other to be there no matter what—though when I confessed my love to him, things didn’t turn out as planned. Thankfully, my little crush didn’t ruin our friendship. I shoved those feelings to the back of my mind, watching him chase after other girls and silently wishing it was me. I resigned us to friendship—that was more important than anything else. But a drunken one-night stand changed everything. Because even though we vowed to forget about it, I couldn’t get it out of my head. And as old memories began to rise to the surface, our lives collided in ways we had never imagined. ------ >>>Go to the link in @barbetti's bio to read the first chapter! #whitneybarbetti #onebigmistake #smalltownromance #friendstolovers #romcom #coverreveal https://www.instagram.com/p/B8gqb-qgUJR/?igshid=1jdzfe0gzu4ez

Do you get nervous easily? I’m a nervous wreck of a person. When you get out of bed, do you throw the blankets off of you, or do you gently and slowly un-tuck yourself? I push them off. Are you more likely to wear colorful clothes or monochrome clothes? I have a few colorful clothing items, but I suppose I do wear more monochrome.
Do you get horny a lot? No. How often do you cry? Quite often. This past week has been everyday. It’s already been a week since my dog passed away...
Do you let things happen on their own or do you initiate them? I tend to let things happen without doing much about it. What song(s) evoke deep thoughts when you listen to them? There’s a few that have strong emotions attached to them. Do you enjoy rainy days? Yes. How long does it take you to read a book? Not long. When you get angry, what do you tend to do? Cry. If you could live in another country, would you? What country? I don’t think so. Do you acknowledge your feelings or ignore them? Try as I might, they don’t like to be ignored. When you want to block everybody out, what song(s) do you blast? If I want to block people out, then I go to my room to be alone. If space were easier to travel, would you want to explore it? Nooo. Just the idea of space scares me. Without saying what it is, describe the best feeling in one sentence. I’m not creative enough to answer this :( <<<< Same. Would you rather be a deep thinker with social anxiety, or a vapid (unintelligent) person who’s a social butterfly? I already am the the deep thinker with social anxiety. Could you imagine yourself having a child? No. What are you currently reading? He Found Me by Whitney Barbetti. Would you go cliff jumping or sky diving? Nooooo. Describe the best thing about being inside. Being comfortable, not worrying about my appearance, and my bed. Describe the best thing about being outside. The cooler weather during the fall and winter, and the smells of fall. What subjects interest you the most? I majored in psychology, so that was definitely something I was really interested in. Do you fear the unknown? Oh yes. Are you the kind of person who just leaves new clothes in their bags for a while after shopping, or do you wear the clothes straight away? I tend to wear them straight away. If you could change your name, what would you change it to? I have no idea. I’m fine with my name, and after having it for twenty-seven years I can’t imagine it being anything else. Put your ipod/music library on shuffle. Describe one memory associated with whatever song comes up. Nah. How often do you feel tired? All day, everyday. Are you a good driver? I don’t drive. If your life was a video game, which would it be? I don’t know. What are you listening to at the moment? I feel like this is always my answer to this question when it gets asked, but I’m listening to an ASMR video. Describe the purpose of art. Art doesn’t need a purpose. <<< I like that. If you could only wear dresses for the rest of your life, would you? Meh. I’m not one to wear dresses often, so I wouldn’t like that much. How bout my comfy clothes/pjs for the rest of my life? What’s one health problem you wish you didn’t have? I have physical health issues, but it’s the mental ones I would say that have been most detrimental. Are you a good test/exam taker? I would always get horrible anxiety before a test. Which is better: Disney or Ghibli? Disney. What’s Ghibili? Can you remember your dreams? Not usually. Do you still own VHS tapes or use a VCR player? We still have a lot of our VHS tapes, but not a VCR. What gives you anxiety? What doesn’t. How often do you think “I might die today”? *shrug* Describe happiness with one type of food. Loaded cheddar potato wedges with sour cream and ranch. Would you give up something you value for concert tickets? There isn’t a particular band that I’m dying to see where it would come to that. I really don’t think I would if I did, though. I’m a hoarder in that way. I have emotional attachments to things. If it had value, that makes it really important to me and therfore I really don’t see it happening. What is the first word to come to mind? Rain.

19-08-2017: Gubbio – Ascoli 1-2, XXIV° Memorial “Mario Mancini”
Marco Gasparri.

Have you ever read a book in a matter of a few hours and then gotten towards the end and regretted ever picking it up in the first place? Well, I finally have. I regret ever picking up Ten Below Zero by Whitney Barbetti and not because I hated the story; I loved it. The problem was the memories and heartbreak it brought back; I lost my grandmother to cancer about 10 months ago and I’m yet to truly grieve for her. The main character in Ten Below Zero, Parker, has to face the possibility of losing someone she loves, Everett, (but isn’t willing to admit it) to a form of cancer. That broke me and it made me regret ever picking up the book and falling in love with the characters; thinking Everett had lost his fight with the cancer was like re-living my loss all over again and I’m not ready to fully face that loss. But thank you, Whitney, for helping me to remember that it’s okay to give up the fight against cancer and helping me to finally face the loss of someone I loved more than I’ll ever be able to say. I just wish I could tell my grandmother that I love her, just one last time...

1. First of all, what do you prefer to be called? Stephanie or Steph is fine. 2. What is your favorite form of creative expression? Blogging and these surveys. 3. How do you like your coffee OR if you don’t like it, why?: With flavored creamer or with Half and Half and Splenda. 4. What is the least desirable thing, in your opinion, to put on a pizza that you have heard of people actually eating?: I’m a simple gal, I just like extra cheese and extra sauce. I don’t like mushrooms, anchovies, onions or all that other crap. Also, I don’t get the whole pineapple thing. Sorry not sorry. 5. Would you rather witness the beginning or the end of the universe?: I’d like to not see the end since that would mean the end of everything/everyone. Seeing the beginning would be remarkable.
6. Describe your favourite pair of socks: I just like my black ankle socks.

Would you rather be able to revisit your past to simply re-experience a positive moment or revisit your past in order to change things and risk the consequences?: I’d like to change things, but then yeah I’d be afraid of the consequences of doing so. It could make things better or it could make things worse. It could take away some of the good things that have happened. I just keep thinking if I had done some things differently, then maybe I wouldn’t have some of the issues I have now. And I have regrets about other things. But sigh I don’t know. 18. Have you ever had a past-life regression or memory?: No. 19. What is your favourite holiday and why?: Christmas. I just love everything about it. 20.
